#JMBmiles

Updated every monday on my SM pages.

As I was considering ways to hold on to all my Dad thoughts after his passing three weeks ago, I got the idea to start a running/hiking/walking/biking {fitness} campaign.

April 11, 2022 my Dad would have turned 90. I decided to set the goal of a collective 900 miles by his birthday. If you are wondering why this would be something to truly honor my Dad, you can read more about him and his fitness passion here.

We are two weeks into our 11 week campaign and are already 1/3 of the way to the goal. I have to admit that there was a part of me that thought….what if we went viral and got to 9000 miles?! Cool huh? But then I decided whether 1 or 2 or 400 join me for #JMBmiles, is no matter.

I have to say that I have been impressed with perfect strangers {perfect as in: I don’t know them at all but they chose to share miles with me} on my FB page who have joined in and sent me their miles. We have a large extended family and I have had nieces and nephews, siblings and the most impressive being my 89 year old mom who sends me her clocked daily miles.

If you are reading this sometime before April 11, 2022 and feel so inspired, send over your miles and I will add them to the tally. E.v.e.r.y. one counts!
